VIA Metropolitan Transit will be providing Special Event Park & Ride service and a downtown shuttle for the upcoming Texas Folklife Festival, June 6-9, 2002.

The roundtrip Park & Ride Special Event fare is $5.00 for adults and $2.50 for children (5-11 years of age), senior citizens 62 years and older with a VIA photo ID, Medicare recipients, persons with disabilities, and students with a valid VIA ID or CO card. VIAtrans patrons, their personal care attendants, and a companion ride free, as well as children 4 years of age and under when accompanied by an adult. No one-way fares will be offered and VIA’s monthly Big Passes are not valid for
Special Event service.

VIA trans service will also be available to the festival for registered persons with disabilities. The usual VIAtrans reservation policies apply.
