Welcome to the Institute of Texan Cultures Digital Storytelling Tour

What is Digital Storytelling?
Digital Storytelling refers to using digital media to aid in telling stories of all types. On this site we're telling stories about Texas. We'll tell you about some of the things that were going on way back when and show you some photographs and artifacts that will help make sense of how today's Texas emerged from its past.

What's so digital about it?
With a click, we'll pop around the museum floor, from one exhibit to another. With a swipe, you'll be able to examine pictures and objects up close. You can pull down text and read along, or you can listen, or both. Together we'll tell the stories of people from all over the world—including Texas—who came together to work or to brag or to dance and to make Texas what it is today.

Is this your first trip here?
