Seeing Is Believing
OVERVIEW
Students will compare two images to identify aspects that are the same and different.
SKILL
Students will use the skills of comparing and contrasting.
PROCEDURE
1. Have students individually review the 21 images in The REAL Alamo portion of this site and choose any two images for study. The images could be downloaded, printed, or toggled for study.
2. Each student is to list five ways that the images are the same or alike and then list five ways the images are different or not alike.
3. After students have finished their comparisons, put them in pairs. Have each student show the images he/she compared and go over his/her lists with his/her partner. Each person should add to his/her partners list one more way the images are alike and one more way they are different.
